Paris. 1937. Art as a Weapon Against Silence.

On 26 April 1937, Nazi warplanes bombed the Basque town of Guernica during market day. Hundreds were killed. Picasso heard the news in Paris. Within days he began Guernica — an eleven-foot canvas in black, white, and grey. He worked on it for five weeks. A horse screaming. A bull standing. A mother with a dead child. A broken soldier. A lamp thrust into the darkness like a question.

Picasso said he did not make art to decorate apartments. He made it as an offensive and defensive weapon against the enemy. Abstract art, for Picasso, was never decoration. It was the most direct way he knew to say something that could not be said in words.

      The Design
Bold geometric abstraction from Picasso's Cubist and Surrealist vocabulary — strong angular forms, high-contrast colour planes, and the raw visual energy that made Picasso's work unlike anything before it. Art that demands to be looked at.

      The Fit
Unisex relaxed fit — comfortable for all body types. Wear oversized or true to size.

      The Fabric
100% pure breathable cotton — soft, lightweight, colourfast and durable through repeated washes.
